School Holidays
Who teaches Kid Coders Holiday Camps ?
All lessons at Kid Coders have been developed and taught by Bec Carmichael.
Do the kids take breaks throughout the camps ?
Yes, we require all the kids to take a break throughout the sessions all at the same time, so no one will miss out.
How many kids in a class ?
There is a maximum of 16 kids per class.
I would like to attend 2 days, will there be different coursework ?
Yes, we will be running different coursework on each day.
How long does a camp go for ?
The Kid Coder Camps will run for 3 hours.
The holiday camps are sold out, will you be running another camp ?
If you missed out on a camp contact Kid Coders and we will see if we can run another camp.
Weekly Coding Classes
Can I join half way through the term ?
Yes, just send me an email to confirm there is a spot available for you.
Can I use my creative kids voucher ?
Yes, Kid Coders is a creative kids provider.
Do I have to attend the school you are at to do weekly classes ?
No, anyone is welcome to our morning classes. We have lots of students who attend different schools.
General Questions
What do I need to bring ?
Just bring along a nut free snack and a drink and we provide the rest.
Do the kids get to take their work home ?
Yes, at the end of the camp we will provide each Kid Coder Camper with a USB flash drive to take home with all their work on it.
Does my child need any programming experience to attend Kid Coders ?
No, not at all. All classes are designed for no previous coding experience, but we also provide challenging extensions for the more experienced Kid Coders.
What do I need to bring ?
